No matter what biological process your plant uses, Entex has experience in designing and providing high rate biological treatment systems including attached growth fixed film technology and hybrid fixed/moving media technology. Whether you are looking for increased capacity or you need to improve your level of treatment, we can provide creative, cost effective solutions to fit your needs. With over 15 years of successful installations of all types of media in virtually every biological treatment process, Entex can provide a custom engineered solution to your challenges.
Treatment Processes
Moving Media Systems (MBBR)
MBBR systems provide exceptional flexibility and space efficiency for both municipal and industrial treatment systems. Entex’s BioTex MBBR System utilizes Entex’s proven EnTextile media in a free floating MBBR regime to provide the lowest cost to performance ratio of any MBBR system on the market.
Integrated Fixed-film Activated Sludge (IFAS)
IFAS combines the treatment benefits of activated sludge with the inherent stability and ease of operation of attached growth film systems, increasing capacity and/or level of treatment.
Submerged Fixed-film (SFF)
Entex’s fixed film media modules can provide SFF upgrades in aerated tanks and lagoons and can be quite beneficial for industrial pretreatment. SFF eliminates the need for clarifier solids inventory management while providing high-rate treatment.
Fixed Media Systems
Fixed media systems are simple, robust, and versatile. Entex’s Webitat modules, for example, are extremely easy to install, operate and maintain as they arrive fully assembled and require no maintenance aside from providing air supply to the integral scour grids.
Hybrid Media Systems
Hybrid media systems combine the flexibility and space efficiency of a moving media system with the ease of installation, operation and maintenance of a fixed media system. Entex’s WavTex modules arrive fully assembled with integrated coarse bubble aeration grids beneath their stainless-steel frames.
