The Coeburn-Norton-Wise (CNW) Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in Coeburn, VA chose Entex’s Webitat system for the upgrade of its 6.5 MGD facility. The goal is improving nitrification to effluent limits of 2.2 and 4.7 mg/L in summer and winter months, respectively.
Eight (8) IFAS modules were installed in 2014, totaling 64,000 ft2 of fixed media. The modules at CNW are aerated at approximately 40 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) per unit.
