A new housing development in Powder House Pass, SD needed a new 25,000 gpd treatment plant to meet an effluent requirement of <1.0 mg/L NH3-N. Entex supplied blowers, controls, instrumentation and all of the internals for the EQ tank, clarifier, sludge digestion, tertiary filtration, and biological treatment, including WavTex system.
The biomass from the WavTex modules provides necessary capacity and resiliency to the system and also promotes a high rate of simultaneous denitrification. The system reached its one-year anniversary in July of 2019.
