Pax, WV WavTex™ and Octopus™ Installation Announcement

Pax WavTex

Another chapter in A Tale of Two Lagoons has been written. The wastewater treatment lagoon in Pax, WV was upgraded using Entex’s SFF WavTex and Octopus aeration system in order to meet its permit limits of <5 mg/L of BOD5 and <2 mg/L of NH3-N.

Three floating WavTex modules with hybrid fixed/moving EnTextile media and two floating Octopus aeration units were installed in the lagoon in July 2020. The WavTex modules each have 40 EnTextile media sheets, providing a total of 10,000 ft2 of EnTextile media. The Octopus modules provide 128 scfm of fine bubble aeration.
