A 7.7 MGD lagoon in Big Sister Creek, NY needed to replace an aging and under-performing submerged aeration system. Entex installed 36 Octopus Floating Aeration modules supplying a total of 6,000 scfm of air through a distribution manifold from the existing blowers and air header.
Since the installation in 2018, the plant has seen improved mixing and achieved target dissolved oxygen levels.
