MBBR systems provide exceptional flexibility and space efficiency for both municipal and industrial treatment systems. Entex’s BioTex MBBR System utilizes Entex’s proven EnTextile media in a free floating MBBR regime to provide the lowest cost to performance ratio of any MBBR system on the market. The EnTextile moving media has a high biologically active surface area and can provide nearly complete simultaneous nitrification/denitrification due to the formation of an anoxic zone within its interior. The BioTex system includes the EnTextile media, media retention screens and a coarse-bubble, full-floor coverage aeration arrangement. The use of coarse bubble aeration eliminates the need for regular servicing on the diffuser system and provides a robust, low maintenance system.
