The wastewater treatment lagoons at an International Building Products Company needed to meet their effluent ammonia limits for direct outfall. Four fixed-film modules made with aluminum frames and Ringlace-style media had collapsed in the lagoon.

Entex replaced the four broken modules with just two Webitat modules. The Webitats are made from 304L stainless steel and hosts high surface area, nearly indestructible BioWeb media. They will provide reliable, maintenance free treatment for the next 30+ years. Performance data will be published following the biological acclimation period. This is Entex’s fifth installation with this customer.
