WolfPack Industries Elevates Rental Treatment Tanks with Entex’s WavTex Technology
WolfPack Industries, a leader in providing customized amenities and utilities for hardworking communities across the U.S., is enhancing its commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) with the help of Entex Technologies’ WavTex system. Known for its diverse fleet of rental units—including mobile shower stations, guard shacks, laundry facilities, restroom trailers, and communications hubs—WolfPack also supplies bio reactor treatment tanks to jobsites in the Gulf region. These tanks now boast an innovative upgrade: the integration of WavTex media to ensure reliable, high-quality wastewater treatment.
WolfPack’s surface rentals are designed to keep jobsites safe, productive, and comfortable. But the company faced a persistent challenge: achieving consistent regulatory compliance for wastewater treatment at remote sites. “We were challenged by unacceptable treatment results until we started utilizing WavTex Technology,” a WolfPack representative shared. The WavTex system, developed by Entex Technologies, is an advanced IFAS (Integrated Fixed Film Activated Sludge) media designed to enhance biological treatment performance without expanding the size of the existing tankage.
WolfPack’s bio reactor tanks are required to meet or fall below the Texas Railroad Commission’s regulatory thresholds for BOD, CBOD, pH, and E. coli. After installing WavTex, the company successfully achieved their biological treatment standards, even under tough environmental conditions. “With WavTex, we are able to sustain a healthy DO level,” a WolfPack team member noted. The tanks operate year-round, with temperatures fluctuating from 90°F during the day to freezing temperatures overnight in the winter months—a swing that can stress biological systems. Despite these challenges, WavTex has provided stability and resilience. “We’ve seen much improvement with the aeration and rolling of the tanks,” WolfPack reports, adding that WavTex’s lightweight, durable material is easy to install and maintain. In addition to its high surface area media, WavTex features an integral coarse bubble aeration grid for continuous media scour while supplying aeration for treatment.
The first bio reactor tank outfitted with WavTex became operational in November 2023. Since then, WolfPack has expanded to 13 operational tanks featuring the media, with more units currently in production. Rental periods typically last five to six years, underscoring the need for long-term performance and reliability.
WolfPack continues to tailor its solutions to each jobsite’s specific needs, offering fully customizable structures and systems backed by 24/7/365 customer service. “WolfPack Industries is a single-source provider of surface rentals and a variety of other seamless, sustainable jobsite solutions,” the company explains. “We supply housing, communications, surveillance, power and lighting, water systems, sanitation, custom structures and more.”
The collaboration between Entex Technologies and WolfPack demonstrates how smart partnerships and innovative treatment technologies like WavTex can tackle environmental challenges while keeping workers safe and jobsites compliant. As WolfPack’s experience shows, sometimes the right technology makes all the difference.
