Aeration Systems
Octopus™ Floating Aeration System
Entex’s Octopus aeration system is a floating, surface-maintainable aeration system. This system offers the advantages of fine or coarse bubble diffusion and is based on the use of a stainless-steel float pod. Diffusors are installed on the bottom of each of the unit’s eight legs. The leg lengths are custom- manufactured to reach the lowest possible point in your basin to maximize bubble contact and subsequent oxygen transfer efficiency.
Floor Mounted Aeration Systems
Entex provides floor mounted aeration systems for both coarse and fine bubble applications. As part of our comprehensive system supply, Entex works with you to determine the appropriate system and can supply the aeration you need. Entex’s coarse bubble system can utilize either custom designed piping with laterals of custom sized openings or dedicated inverted U-shaped coarse bubble diffusers. Our coarse bubble diffuser systems match industry standard oxygen transfer efficiencies.
Blowers
Entex provides a full range of blowers to provide air for our aerations systems and for the needs of our fixed film attached growth biological systems. Powered by United Blower, Entex has over 10,000 blowers installed in wastewater, water, and industrial applications. Our core blower is the engineered quiet pulse trilobe positive displacement (PD) ranging up to 300 HP. Our multistage centrifugal blower packages range up to 800 HP. Our high pressure (18 PSIG) PD blower packages, our regenerative blower systems, and our popular smaller arrangements are also available.
